Blessed was invited to be part of an exciting musical experience in the Netherlands, by Dr. Portia Maultsby (world-renowned authority of black music). She invited Blessed because she was impressed with the energy, acappela style and musicianship.

In the Netherlands, Blessed was immersed in a different cultural environment, attended classes at the University of Utrecht, experienced human relationships on an international level, served as ambassabors for the Carlow community, and shared personal expressions of faith through song.
